Biblical classes that are conducted seasonally throughout the year to bring forth a deeper understanding and a greater revelation of the word of God.

BOOKSTORE

The bookstore provides books, CDs, DVDs, and numerous ministerial products that assist in the daily development and growth of the believer. In addition, copies of all VFS services and programs can be purchased at the bookstore.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

The VFS Children’s Church is committed to nurturing and fostering a healthy self-image within our children ages 5 – 11, while teaching them the word of God in their own environment and at a pace they can understand.

DEACON BOARD

The deacons are an extension of the pastor and co-laborers in the ministry, who make sure the church and the people of God are cared for properly.

EXECUTIVE BOARD

A body of elders and top administrators designed to bring covering and balance to the pastor and first lady in the carrying out of the overall vision for the ministry.

FOLLOW-UP TEAM

Responsible for the orientation of new members, the well-being of existing members, and the continued encouragement of the many VFS visitors.

KIMBERLY BILLUPS YOUTH CHOIR

Named in the memory of Kimberly Billups, our youth choir aides in helping children learn to praise and worship God through music; consisting of ages 5 – 11.

KITCHEN COMMITTEE

Oversees the preparation and cooking of all meals provided during special events and programs.

LOVE ATTACK TEAM

Church greeters and hospitality specialists that serve as an extension of love from the pastor and first lady by welcoming the many visitors, guests, and members that attend our weekly worship services.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY

Designed for married couples as a tool of sharing and ministering about the special blessings and challenges of two becoming one.

MEN’S MINISTRY

The focus of this ministry is to help men of all backgrounds to walk victoriously in their daily devotion with Christ; forever charging them to take their rightful place as men and leaders in their homes, communities, and local church.

MINISTERIAL STAFF

The ministers’ purpose is to preach, teach, and evangelize the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as to be a priestly example of Godly living. The duties of the minister also include conducting special services, programs and ceremonies when needed.

MOTHERS BOARD

The mothers of the church are responsible for consistent prayer for the first family, and are exemplary elders helping to maintain a standard of righteous living for the congregation to aspire to.

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

The music department consists of skilled and anointed musicians, who fulfill all the musical and instrumental needs of the ministry.

NURSERY

A child care ministry covering ages 6 months – 4 years old, established so those with children can enjoy worship services without distraction, and know there children are being cared for in a safe environment.

NURSES BOARD

The nurses are a team of trained assistants, who cater to the needs of the pastor, the first lady, and all guest speakers before, during, and after they minister.

OUTREACH MINISTRY

This ministry’s mission is to address the spiritual, physical, and financial needs of the community at large while witnessing and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

PASTOR’S AIDE

A committee designated to minister to the special needs and tasks of the pastor and first family.

PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAM

The praise and worship team helps to create an atmosphere of expectation by ushering in God’s presence, while preparing the hearts and minds of the congregation to be receptive to the word of God.

PRAYER WARRIORS

Anointed intercessors who pray for all aspects of the ministry and the world to assure the needs of God’s people are being supplied, and the assignments of satanic forces are being canceled in the name of Jesus.

PUBLICATIONS

Responsible for the design and production of promotional literature and brochures for special occasions and events.

SECURITY TEAM

Trained personnel who secure the church and church grounds from illegal and unrighteous activity.

SINGLES MINISTRY

The Singles Ministry was created to provide a forum for single Christians to fellowship and cultivate self-development, while using the word of God as a road map to success in all facets of life.

SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

Responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of special events and occasions.

TELEVISION MINISTRY

Video production specialist and cameramen who are responsible for the recording and editing of all VFS television broadcasts, promos, and announcements.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY

Dependable Drivers who provide transportation to and from VFS services and events throughout the week.

USHER BOARD

The ushers serve as attendants who maintain order, seat, and direct all who enter into the sanctuary, as well as provide assistance to those in need during worship services.

VOICES OF VISION CHOIR

The VFS adult choir are skilled and anointed singers and psalmists who help to lift burdens and destroy yokes through the ministry of song.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women’s Ministry is called to empower, equip and encourage all women of vision to grow stronger in their relationship with Christ; aiding them to fulfill their call as wives, mothers, daughters, and sisters of faith.

YOUTH MINISTRY

The mission of the Youth Ministry is to evangelize this generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ by creating an atmosphere where they can experience God, and to inspire them to let their voices be heard in the kingdom.
