Bishop Keith Young, SR, a native of Roselle, NJ is the founder and senior Pastor of the faith-believing, bible based, soul-winning Vision For Souls Family Worship Center. Bishop Young is a true visionary with a passion for souls to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. As a youth, the call to ministry was already a part of the blueprint for his life. At an early age, Bishop Young and his family became members of Deliverance Evangelistic Center Ministries, under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Apostle Arturo Skinner. Under this anointed ministry is where the foundation to become a servant was first laid.

As a young man, the mantle for ministry was being prepared to be entrusted to him as he served faithfully under Bishop Wayne L. Johnson (who also served under Apostle Skinner) at the Bibleway Deliverance Center Church. There, Bishop Young was being groomed for greatness in the Kingdom of God as he served as Youth and Acting Assistant Pastor. He served both Apostle Skinner and Bishop Johnson with respect, reverence and humility as he learned at their feet. In 1980, Bishop Young moved to Georgia and founded Bibleway Outreach Center of Marietta GA, and in December 1988, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, moved the church to Mableton where Vision For Souls Family Worship Center was birthed.

Bishop Young has always had a thirst for knowledge and stands by the scripture “in all thy getting, get understanding”. As such, he studied at Deliverance Bible Institute of Newark, NJ and was the youngest to graduate from the Institute at that time, as well as received his Bachelors in Arts degree in Behavior Science from Shaw University of Raleigh, NC in only three years. He currently serves as the; Presiding Prelate of Walking in Vision Fellowship of Churches; Vice-chairman of the Family Life Restoration board of directors; and is currently a Senior Vice President within the 5Linx Corporation. Additionally, he served faithfully as the Vice-president of the Word in Action Fellowship, under the anointed leadership of Bishop Wiley Jackson, II. Truly, Bishop Young is mission-driven.

In March 2013, a transformation in spiritual elevation took place as the official ceremony was held to induct Bishop Young into the bishopric. The mantle that was being prepared years prior, was now ready to be spiritually passed down to him through Apostle Arturo Skinner and Bishop Wayne Johnson was finally brought into holy fruition during that most Holy Consecration. Bishop Young is married to the lovely and equally business-savvy Lady Lutherine Young. To their union, they were blessing with four children (April, Keith Jr., Kendell and Kenthany); they have one son-in-law (Niko) and two daughters-in-law (Quanyin and Tiana) and they are the proud grandparents of seven adorable granddaughters. The mission of this great visionary with a heart for the people can be summed up in one simple phrase – “we’re on a mission, and we won’t be denied!”
